Which item am I supposed to remove? It looks like the number 5.

Trying to figure out which item the question is asking me to remove. It looks like I should remove the number 5.

lists.py
states = [
    'ACTIVE',
    ['red', 'green', 'blue'],
    'CANCELLED',
    'FINISHED',
    5,
]
states.remove([5])

You've identified the correct item to remove, but it's just a 5, not a sub-list with a 5 in it.

So remove the brackets in your argument and try again.
