which language should i choose

hie guys. i am an engineering student studying industrial and manufacturing engineering. i am interested in developing engineering apps and softwares but am confused i cant make up my mind on the track to choose. anyone one who could help me please, i want to learn new skills that will enhance my carrier path.

I would point you towards Python as there are a lot of engineering applications for that language, it is very popular amongst a variety of engineering disciplines, and is, relatively speaking, easy to learn. There are some great courses on Python here at Treehouse and the Learn Python track would be a great way to start.
