Which text editor should I use?

Hi everyone,

The question I get asked the most is "Which text editor should I use?" so I decided to write a blog post explaining it. Here's the link:

Choosing a text editor can be a little bit bewildering at first due to the number of choices available. Hopefully this helps answer the question for those of you that are just getting started with web programming. :)

I wanted to note that most every feature available in Sublime Text is available in notepad++.

Since Coda, Textmate & Sublime all cost money I wanted to mention a free option for OS X Text Wrangler.

Ditch the training wheels and hop on the Vim train y'all.

Well you could also pick emacs but you're going to be most productive if you can use the same editor and commands everywhere you edit whether that's on the desktop or server, on a brand new laptop or a 15 year old banger, 20 years ago or in 20 years.

I like Sublime Text and even use it on Linux on the desktop, but let's face it, that app is 2 months away from being abandonware in the style of TextMate 1.

Thank you and I test Teamtreahouse's forum comment system.

I used Espresso 2 (well the previous versions) for a few years until I started using Sublime Text 2 in beginning of 2013 with lots of nice plugins.
