Which Track to make a B2B - Website for Tendering and RFQ process.

I would like to make a website for B2B website for companies to login and post their requirements so that only other companies that registered to respond to the queries and whoever wins, the post is removed. What tracks should i learn and what sucession and what to do do afterwards if not here listed.

Thanks alot.

I could see your site built using any of Ruby, Python, PHP, or .Net. Do you have any past programming experience? Any friends you might ask advice of? It might be helpful to use the same tech that they use, so you can get their help.

My preference for myself, if I were to start a new project would be to used Python as the programming language, Django as the web framework and Postgresql as my database. I would start with this track: https://teamtreehouse.com/tracks/learn-python and then do any remaining prereqs for https://teamtreehouse.com/library/django-basics then do that course.

Thanks for the reply, I do appreciate your time to reply to my question. I, unfortunately, don't have any programming experience but I am really excited to do my first project. Eventhough I am full time employee, I would pretty much dedicate as much time to learn. I would start with Python, or you prefer I start with Ruby (im just reading alot about it and not at all sure what is the core differences) or is it just a newbie easy street.

thanks,

I would just pick one language and focus on that. My recommendation is Python.

Once you've mastered programming you will see that Python, Ruby and Javascript are all very similar, like someone built three houses with the same blueprint, and then filled them with different furniture.

Thanks for the recommendation and I like the comparison! Im going to hit hard now learning and hopefully I could start up working with my project soon.

Thanks again.
