Why add the div wrapper? Why not use body as wrapper?

Guil says that adding a div wrapper allows him to have more control. How so? Why can we just add the wrapper class to the body element?

I believe that the body is more of the screen, as in it contains most of the elements and sits mostly in the background. With a div wrapper, it can allow greater control over the whole page section, as if you were controlling the body of the page, without being constrained by some aspects that are unique to the HTML body itself.
