iOS Swift Basics (retired) Types Numbers

Why am I incorrect?

a constant is uses let, correct? price being the name of the constant, the constant was assigned 9.99 being the price. I wrote my code like this let price = 9.99 please, what did I do wrong?

numbers.swift
let price = 9.99

1 Answer

That's right, except there's this note:

Important: The code you write in each task should be added to the code written in the previous task.

So you should include your correct answer from the previous step:

let title = "A Dance with Dragons"
let price = 9.99

If that's not the issue you were encountering, then I don't know. You do have the right code for step 2/3, as long as you add it on to your previous answer.
