1,758 PointsWhy are we being asked to practice exercises with methods we've never seen previously? Is this purposeful?
Just wondering because the exercises are asking to complete objectives with methods that are unknown to me and I am sure others since they were never touched on in the videos...are we supposed to go looking elsewhere like the MDN or W3 Schools??

The challenge doesn't require you to use a specific method, and while you can pass it using one that hasn't been introduced in the course, you can also pass it using methods that have. For example, here's another way to get the first list item element:
