Why are you removing CSS3?

Just noticed the it says:

"This content is being retired in 30 days and will no longer be available after May 4, 2013. It will be replaced by CSS Foundations - Second Edition."

Will the same content be covered just in a different format? Or should I be quick to study this before it's gone?

Just study the new stuff. No need to worry.

Hi Alexander,

The new CSS Foundations consolidates topics covered in "CSS Foundations" and "CSS3" –– you won't miss a thing. :)

Thanks! I'm learning heaps! Very exciting.

I had completed both CSS Foundations and CSS3 and now I am coming back to their CSS Foundations - Second Edition. This new content is fantastic!

Really, it's taught in a more intuitive and easy to understand method and they start from the beginning.

Thanks so much, Keith. I'm really glad to hear that you're enjoying it, and above all, learning a lot! And stay tuned, because there is awesome new CSS-related content in the works to follow "CSS Foundations - 2nd Edition"!

Oooh, so glad to hear it. A lot of the topics I saw in CSS3 were ones that i was really looking forward to learning. I'm still a brand newbie though (working my way through the 'build a simple website' project atm) and was inda bummed when flicking through everything to realise that CSS3 was being canned.

So, just so I'm clear - what's the major difference between the two? Foundations (and 2nd foundations) vs. CSS3?

Thanks! :)
