Why did you put nameField rather than nameEditText??

I tried nameEditText and it work...I actually don't know why did he change it to nameField.. it makes me much more confuse

my code below

public class MainActivity extends AppCompatActivity {
    private EditText nameEditText;
    private Button startButton;

    @Override
    protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
        super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
        setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);

        nameEditText = findViewById(R.id.nameEditText);
        startButton = findViewById(R.id.startButton);

        startButton.setOnClickListener(new View.OnClickListener() {
            @Override
            public void onClick(View view) {
                String name = nameEditText.getText().toString();
                Toast.makeText(MainActivity.this, name, Toast.LENGTH_LONG).show();
            }
        });
    }
}
