Why do i need add dictionary to the views

def course_list(request): courses = Course.objects.all() return render(request, 'courses/course_list.html', {'courses': courses})

Why do we need {'courses': courses} in the render ?

The optional 3rd argument to "render" is a context dictionary. It provides things that the template can reference, such as "courses" in this example. In the video, the template displays the "title" and "description" attributes of each item in the "courses" collection.
