Why do we use parentheses after "print" but not after "if"?

see example from lecture below

first_name = input(“What is your first name? " print(Hello,”, first_name) if first_name == “Craig”: print(first_name, “is learning Python”

The use of parentheses depends on the context and purpose of the statement. For functions like print(), parentheses are used to pass arguments (what we want to print), while for control flow statements like if, the condition is specified directly without the need for parentheses (if 2 < 5:)
