For one, you have to close your paragraph for the copyright with a /p.

okay did that . thanks. but still my site looks like this lol http://postimage.org/image/6jzuc1m1f/ and http://postimage.org/image/4k1x9c4iz/

suyesh - I noticed that two of your tags aren't closed a <p> tag and an <a> tag.

Most text editors use syntax highlighting, if the colors don't look right this can give you a hint you missed something. Also most text editors have a feature, that will highlight the matching tag in HTML.

suyesh - After looking at the screenshots you posted, your issue probably has to do with the path you used in your <link> tag.

  <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/grid.css" media="screen">

What this is telling the browser in plain English is ...

Look for a directory named css which is inside the directory which has the HTML file then look for a file named grid.css.

So if you didn't unzip those directories and create a directory structure the same as Nick did in the video, that could be your issue.

If you are still having trouble, the issue is most likely path-related.

Read through these 2 articles on how file paths work:

Let us know if are still having issues after reading those articles.

here is my directory structure http://postimage.org/image/eau1x9o7n/

Are you still having trouble with this? Aside from that one div that's not where it's supposed to be, everything else seems like it's following the grids correctly. Based on that it's safe to say that your link tag is perfectly fine.

So let's focus on the second to last div; the one that's giving you grief. We know where it should be located and that location is being controlled by the grid.css file. The only way those css declarations can work properly is by matching up the class names that they have with the class names in your html.

To make a long answer short, if you haven't already, check your spelling of the class name on the second to last div.
