Why does the +/- boxes appear right next to my name?

I do the same thing as Jim in the workspace but when I relaunch it the - and + boxes are right next to my name. They should appear far left on the scoreboard. What am I doing wrong?

This is going to be much easier to help you troubleshoot if we can get a link to a snapshot of your workspace

Also, I have exact the same code as the teacher... but the - and + boxes keep staying to the right. Please help me. Something's wrong with the css? Though I still have the same code as the teacher.
