Why does the word get from "getVoteCount" is ignored in the handlebars file ?

Around 11:30 the method getVoteCount is called in the ideas.hbs file but it's shortned to just "voteCount"

Anyone can explain this to me ?

I also don't understand this. Craig says "we added that method getVoteCount, but it's just voteCount here" and he never expands on that
