Python Python Collections (Retired) Lists Redux Manipulating Lists

Why doesn't this code work?

So this is my code:

the_list = ["a", 2, 3, 1, False, [1, 2, 3]]

# Your code goes below here
the_list.insert(0, the_list.pop(5))

The question says: Challenge Task 1 of 3

Move the 1 to position 0. You can do this in one step with .pop() and .insert().

the_list = ["a", 2, 3, 1, False, [1, 2, 3]]

# Your code goes below here
the_list.insert(0, the_list.pop(3)) #the 4th element of this list is the 1. Therefore we call index 3 because indices start at 0

If we wanted to call the 1 from the sub-list we would need to use index [5][0]. We would be referencing 6th element of the first list, 1st element of the sixth element or index 0.
