I should have posted this about 4 videos back but this code does not work, I keep getting an error message in the console and nothing has worked, so I've just been following along with the videos unable to do anything. I keep getting an error for the first line.Please help.

toggleList.addEventListener('click', () => {
  if (listDiv.style.display == 'none') {
    toggleList.textContent = 'Hide list';
    listDiv.style.display = 'block';
  } else {
    toggleList.textContent = 'Show list';
    listDiv.style.display = 'none';
  }
});
