CSS CSS Basics (2014) Understanding Values and Units Text Styles

Why "font-size" instead of "text-size"?

Is there any rule behind the name of CSS properties? Especially for text styling. Why sometimes uses "font", sometimes uses "text"?

In general, the settings that begin with "font-" all affect which font face (character shapes) will be used, and those that begin with "text-" relate to layout, positioning or other presentation aspects of the text.

So in short, "font-" :point_right: looks, "text-" :point_right: layout.
