Python Development Techdegree Student 3,071 PointsAbsolutely. Lol. Rewatching the videos over and over again now.
Does feel like she did not break down the concepts as well as she could have.
Thought it was just me. Thank you for making this post.

6,427 PointsYou should re-watch the videos and redo the code. Maybe that will help. Taking a slower approach sometimes help.

7,922 Points"Coding with Megan" is how this felt. Really no breakdown of what was happening at all, just writing lines of code. I feel that I have really not learned anything about OOP from this exercise.
I have seen similar content that was generated during the pandemic, clearly instructors working from home. The quality has dipped from what Treehouse was prior.

4,343 Pointsconsidering that this was the video series that the Treehouse team pointed us towards after the previous OOP Python videos got feedback about being too advanced and not explaining for beginners, I thought this would be much better given the feedback.
If I am this far along on a track "full stack' for me, it is so disheartening when you get to a place where it just overwhelms (in this case, two sets of videos). I don't care and by the comments, others wouldn't, if there are a lot more videos to complete, my goal is to understand it fully and again, i didn't get that. It was another project where I essentially just copied what was being done in the video and only understanding half of it. It is a huge jump up - almost like there is a missing course that should be put in the middle.

5,048 PointsI love Megan's style and I hope to learn as much about Python as she knows. This project wasn't beginner-friendly, but I would still watch her content as she is a great instructor.

1,909 PointsYeah this project was tough. I watched the videos several times, and there are points where new syntax was introduced that I didn't understand. Maybe the point was to learn it by doing it. The project gives us experience, and I guess we build on that over time. Did your game run?
