In the following code you are missing a semi-colon at the end of the first property:

body {
   background-color: white
   color: #999;
}

// Put a semi-colon after the word white:
body {
   background-color: white;
   color: #999;
}

Thanks, Julie! It's amazing that a semi-colon on a different rule, would affect the one below it. But maybe that's why it's css :)

You're welcome. :) I know what you mean...I was just as surprised when I discovered that a missing semi-colon affected code else where. The quarks use programmers put up with. :P

Hey Jeff,

Looking over your code, you're missing a semi colon after the first declaration in this rule:

/* site body */ body { background-color: white color: #999; }

Also, the fourth last line from the bottom, which will be applied after everything else above it, you set the color of the h1 and h2 elements to #fff. Since this comes after any preceding color alterations, it will be applied and shown as the color of the h1 and h2 elements. The line where this happens is this one:

/* logo text */ h1, h2 { color: #fff; }

Hope this helps, good luck!

Thanks, Daniel!

Thanks everybody!
