why is "int" written in lower case?
Craig has explained that java is a sensitive language. so this should be an error.

Yes, case is very important in Java, as well as other languages.
int is a primitive type and must be written all in lower-case. You'd receive an error if you use an Upper-Case letter. All primitive types in Java and lower-cased.
You can have a look here for more info on these types.
