Ruby Ruby Operators and Control Structures Logical Operators The Or (||) Operator

why is my case-when structure not working?

I was also wondering if || meant the same and &&

ruby.rb
def valid_command?(command)
  case kase
    when command == "y"
      return true
    when command == "yes"
      return true
    when command == "Y"
      return true
    when command == "YES"
      return true

   end
end

Hey Wilfredo!

If you take the word 'kase' out of your code it will pass just fine!

This challenge was trying to reinforce the || operator though and could also be completed with the code below-

Hope that helps!!

def valid_command?(command)
  return true if command.downcase == "y" || command.downcase == "yes"
end
