Why is my code not compiling?

I'm not entirely sure why it's not compiling. What am I missing?

objects.swift
// Enter your code below

class Shape {
 var = numberOfSides: Int

  init(numberOfSides: Int){
   self.numberOfSides = numberOfSides
  }

}

let someShape = Shape

It should look something like this.

class Shape {
    var numberOfSides: Int

    init(numberOfSides: Int){
        self.numberOfSides = numberOfSides
    }

}

let someShape = Shape.init(numberOfSides: 2)

First of your numberOfSides property declaration is incorrect, there is an equal sign there for some reason. Also your object someShape have to be initiated with the init method.
