Why is my title showing up on the page instead of on the tab like in the lesson? I am using Google Chrome on a PC

<!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <meta charset="utf-8"> <tittle>Nelson Cole | Designer</tittle> </head> <body> <header> <h1>Nelson Cole</h1> <h2>Designer</h2> </header> <section> <p>Gallery will go here.</p> </section> <footer> <P>© 2015 Nelson Cole.</P> </footer>

</body> </html>

Your tag says "tittle." It should be "title."

Is something like this at the top of your html? If so, can you post your code?

<head>
<title>HTML Reference</title>
</head>

You have an extra 't' in 'title' :D

You needed to use a <head></head> just like I have shown below, but then by now you must have solved this hey :)

<head>
       <meta charset="utf-8">
      <title>Nelson Cole | Designer</title>
</head>

<header>
   <h1>Nelson Cole</h1>
    <h2>Designer</h2>
</header>
