CSS

Why is the colour coding not working for the font??!

<!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <title> Smells Like Bakin </title> <style> body { background-color: #4FB694; } h1 { colour: #FAF3BC; font-size: 64px; } p { colour: #FAF3BC; } </style> </head>

<body> <h1>Smells like bakin</h1> <p>We combine unexpected flavours that melt together to create ironically delicious deserts</p>

Hi James,

It looks to me from a first glance that it may well be down to your spelling of the word 'colour' in your CSS. This should always be spelt as 'color'.

Notice that your 'body {background-color :#4FB694;}' is spelt the correct way, but your 'h1 {colour: #FAF3BC; font-size: 64px;}' is not.

Hope this helps :)

I suggest that 'colour' should be American English 'color'.

Fantastic thank you so much.

Didn't think of that!
