Why is the function name "greeting" and the constant name "greeting"? Isn't this bad form to have them named the same?

Why is the function name "greeting" and the constant name "greeting"? Isn't this bad form to have them named the same?

tuples.swift
func greeting(person: String) -> String {
    let language = "English"
    let greeting = "Hello \(person)"

    return greeting
}

let result = greeting("Chad")

The constant name 'greeting' only exists inside the function, this is called scope. So they will not conflict.
