I am getting the message that I need to increment the counter variable, however, the code compiles I believe that I am incrementing counter, any suggestions?
Thanks for the help.
let numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9]
var sum = 0
var counter = 0
let size=numbers.count
// Enter your code below
while counter < size {
sum += numbers[counter]
counter ++
}

7,018 PointsTake the space out of "counter ++".
However, you should note that this style of incremetor is being deprecated in Swift 3. Going forward, you will need to use "counter += 1" instead. This may not work in current Treehouse courses, but it's something to bear in mind when working on your own Swift code going forward.
