Why is this still saying I'm wrong? The "Bummer" notice is contradicting the challenge.

Please help! I posted before and am now receiving this error message.

app.js
var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";

var userName= id.toUpperCase(); + "#" + lastName.toUpperCase();
index.html

Hi Jennifer,

Remove the semicolon after id.toUpperCase() here:

var userName= id.toUpperCase(); + "#" + lastName.toUpperCase();

Hope that helps!

its because you used an ";" at the end of the first variable id.
