JavaScript jQuery Basics Working with jQuery Collections The .each() method

Why isn't the following code showing up as correct. The preview shows the correct result.

The challenge task for the .each() method doesn't seem to be working for me. It won't proceed but the preview is showing Checkboxes in front of each li element.

What should I be doing differently?

        <li>Rainbows</li>
        <li>Unicorns</li>
        <li>Sprinkles</li>

  // Write code here
  $(this).prepend('<input type="checkbox" />');

The instructions say to prepend '<input type="checkbox"/>', but you have an extra space between the type value and the end of the tag.

While this would not pose an issue in practice (as you observed) it's throwing off the validation mechanism.
