Why isn't this passing?

I did exactly as asked, but it's wrong for some reason. Any help?

racecar.py
class RaceCar:

    def __init__(self, color = 'Blue', fuel_remaining = 59, **kwargs):
        laps = 0
        self.color = color
        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining

        for key, value in kwargs.items():
            setattr(self, key, value)

    def run_lap(self, length):

        self.fuel_remaining -= length*0.125
        self.laps += 1

You created a local variable instead of a class property.

When you initialze laps in __init__, you forgot to prefix it with "self.".

Yes, I figured it out. Thanks for the reply anyways.
