why it doesn't works

it says to use the NOT operator, and I used it and write: let isWinner = !(initalScore == 10) and it doesn't works...

You have mis-spelled initial in the last part

var initialScore = 8
initialScore += 1
//You missed the i
let isWinner = intialScore != 10
