JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Introducing JavaScript Where Does JavaScript Go?

why script run first??

<body> <h1>team </h1> <script> alert("hello"); </script> </body>

1 Answer

It is not that your script "runs" first. It is that the browser stops to parse the JavaScript content before continuing rendering the page. If you want to render your page before JavaScript is executed you can take advantage of the onLoad event but it all will depend on the needs of your application/website.

<body>
  <h1>team </h1>
  <script>
    window.onload = function() {
    alert("hello");
      };
  </script>
</body>

thanks
