Python

Why were tabs used instead of spaces to indent the function body in the Python "Functions" video?

I thought only 4 spaces could be used to make indents in this situation?

Python works equally well with tabs or spaces. And when using spaces, you can choose how many spaces indicate a level, you're not stuck with 4.

But the trick is to be consistent. Whatever you choose must be used the same way throughout the code or you can cause indentation errors.
