Python

why won't this run in python: a = input("enter a number ") b = input("enter another number ") print(a*b)

a = input("enter a number ") b = input("enter another number ")

print(a*b)

this will not run in the python console here at treehouse

Input assigns value as a string. You need to convert it to number before multiplying.

print(int(a)*int(b))
