What does he mean by a Wikipedia link to that date

Wikipedia has entries for every day of the calendar year. For example, the link for April 1 is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/April_1

So the suggested script would need to accept a month and day of the month, then covert those responses in to a text string that would of the same format as the Wikipedia link above.
