920 PointsWill I remember all of this?
Basically, I am on the Web Design track, still working on 'How to Build a Website', so it's early days but I am loving it!
What I am wondering is, will I get to the end of this course and remember all of the code that I am writing? I am being pretty diligent and re-watching the videos and taking notes. But even at this stage, looking over my html, I worry that I won't be able to reproduce the code as I learn more and more information.
Is this a needless worry? Will it all work out? Did anyone else worry about this and find strategies to make it work?
Thanks, I needed to get that off my chest :)

I remember finishing the how to build a website course then when i looked back at my final product, there were some things i had forgot how to do, and i did get a little worried. However, that is normal. You will start to get more comfortable over time as you do more projects on your own, and learn from your mistakes. When you have a hard problem that you cant solve and finally get it right is when you will learn the most. Eventually it will become second nature to you so dont worry. You will only learn some much from taking notes, you have to put all of that into practice and that is when you will really learn a lot. I recommend that you create your own personal website from scratch, and make some websites for people that you might now. That will really teach you a lot:)

8,136 PointsIf you can't remember everything don't worry - you will get better with practice! The more you start coding websites the better you will be about remembering certain things. Until then the W3C is a great resource for remembering and researching tags for HTML and CSS.

920 PointsOh guys, thanks a million. That's really put my mind at ease. I am loving everything I'm learning at the moment and don't want to weigh myself down with needless repetition and analysis.
I'm going to carry on as I am. I am using the workspace to build a test website for my brother who is a photographer, so at least my work feels relevant to me.
Thanks again for your replies :D
