Will "Mobile App Design for iOS" cover UX Topics?

Based on the description it is obvious the course will mainly be about UI design, and considering most of the people on TTH are interested in visual design that seems fair. However, it would be nice to see some true UX topics. Things like how to design studies (usability, field), write successful surveys, etc. If not in this course is there anything in the works?

We are working on couple of UX courses and will announce them on the roadmap as soon as we have more details. We already have a usability course: http://teamtreehouse.com/library/usability-foundations

Thanks Amit! Already completed usability. I'm now interested in how to do the research to find out what your users need, want, etc.

I'm actually doing a talk this year at An Event Apart on "Designing using Data" - connected user experience. It sounds like this could be more of what you're looking for, Patrick?

Yeah. I'm interested in the "how" and, more importantly, "why" of laying out the information. I know you can't necessarily build things in a way you think is intuitive because your users may not find it as intuitive. I'm interested in how to get good feedback from the users but also how to avoid potential problems in the first place with user studies. Basically the technical stuff most designers don't like. :-P
