Great question, Jeffrey! We aren't going to offer anything very soon, but we are building a lot of material that builds the foundation for machine learning. We're definitely interested in that specifically before too long. In the mean time, you'll want some foundational knowledge on data analysis/science. Data Analysis Basics (https://teamtreehouse.com/library/data-analysis-basics-making-decisions-with-data/upcoming) will be a great place to start when that's ready, and there are some Python/data courses in the works that I'll have added to the roadmap (https://teamtreehouse.com/roadmap) shortly. We're also working on a course using Watson APIs from IBM (https://teamtreehouse.com/library/build-a-chatbot-with-watson-apis/upcoming), which tap into an extensive machine learning platform behind the scenes.

will there be a course on machine learning anytime soon?

title says it all

It took a while, but now there's a Machine Learning course, and it's in a new topic category of the same name (so more may be coming).

In the mean time, you'll want some foundational knowledge on data analysis/science. Data Analysis Basics will be a great place to start when that's ready, and there are some Python/data courses in the works that I'll have added to the roadmap shortly.
