Hi, my goal is to setup a blog which is quite detailed. I am giving myself two three months to complete it which i think is reasonable time frame. I would like to know which is the best way to go. WordPress track or one of the modules from the library.
I have a fair amonth HTML, CSS, experience alreaday. I also am quite handy with Gimp image editor. But zero PHP experience.
I would love to learn from ground up, but also like to get hit the ground running.
I appreciate your answers.

"to setup a blog which is quite detailed"
Then the WordPress track is what you're looking for.

With your previous knowledge and this course you can easily create a blog in much less than 3 months
Then you can complete the track if you want but with those things you are good to go!

1,889 PointsI agree with the other guys. Go with WordPress. With your HTML and CSS experience you should be able to create a theme to your liking and get any widgets/plugins up and running pretty quickly.
Three months should be plenty of time. IMO you can get a pretty robust WordPress site up in less than a week if you have to.
