Workspace = Color Blind?

My instructor, for the past 1 million lessons or so, loves to always scroll over a value in CSS, then demonstrates how in HIS workspace a color would appear in Workspace.

Call it madness, but I want the color to display for me.......

The colors won't display when I hover over the value even when I have it highlighted....

Don't sue me, please, it's just that dang smile on the instructors face......

It's taunting me...

All jokes aside, please help restore my Workspace's color blindness.

Can you post a snippet of your code concerning this problem?

Hi there! My guess is that you are trying to scroll over the color using a browser other than Chrome. As far as I know, this feature only works in the Chrome browser. Are you trying in Chrome and still not seeing it?

I am using Microsoft Edge, I know, I have committed a sin.

Unfortunately, chrome for some reason doesn't run as smoothly as Microsoft Edge does, so I guess I'll just have to live with the fact that my instructor is an all powerful being who can manipulate colors in anyway he chooses.

Also, I hope including jokes in comments/questions/answers is allowed....

If you seriously want to be a developer, you're going to need a sense of humor. I guarantee it. As long as the jokes aren't offensive, I don't believe Treehouse would have a problem with them. There are many instructors who use jokes in their lectures and even their Teacher's Notes (if you read those). Some of them I've had the pleasure to communicate with directly, and they've always been very cool. :sparkles:

My code works just fine, but I guess if you want me to, take a look: https://prnt.sc/fkpgub

Thanks for the heads up. I try to make my jokes as inoffensive as possible (unless I am on a site that permits it).

I would also like to add the stress of your code not functioning as you intended it to is SO stressful, irritating, etc.

Going to the forums for every problem I run into seems a bit excessive, at one point I even thought about quitting.

This was before I found Treehouse, I have only been enrolled for two days, so hopefully everything goes well.
