Workspace does not work

This workspace does not work. Here is was was typed: treehouse:~/workspace$ git init

fatal: pathspec 'tin.html' did not match any files

You need to be in the medals directory. /home/treehouse/workspace/medals If you're in the workspace directory, use "cd medals" to get there.
