Python Introducing Lists Using Lists Iteration

Workspace Issue: python -i meeting.py gives me a Traceback error. Can't figure out the issue.

Here is what i receive: Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/home/treehouse/workspace/meeting.py", line 3, in <module>
attendees.extend["James", "Gill"]
TypeError: 'builtin_function_or_method' object is not subscriptable

Hi there, raiden27! According to what you've typed it looks like you may have forgotten a pair of parentheses.

It looks like on line 3 you typed:

attendees.extend["James", "Gill"]

But you meant to type:

attendees.extend(["James", "Gill"]) # added parentheses
