Would I need programming??
Do I need any programming experience.. If yes.. Then which language??
I think that , you do not need to learn every programming languages . You need to learn and love one language that you like . If you are beginner I guess if you begin with C or C++ then java (to learn the basics ) . If you want a big future learn web design language . Good luck

Hi Indranil, it depends on what your goal is, if you want to design a game and program it yourself then yes you will need programming, C#, C++ and Java are all great programming languages to get started on for gaming. If you just want to design the game e.g design the characters, the backgrounds, the ui elements and then pass it along to a developer to code it you do not need programming however IMO it's always nice to have some experience so you can appreciate what's going on under the hood :)

If you want to go mobile then Objective-C and Swift are used for iOS and Java is the language for Android.
