8,842 PointsXcode Beta 6 while completing the iOS Track
I'd like to download the Xcode IDE so as to already get a feeling for it, but since I'm still completing the current iOS Track - in which they use Xcode 5.1.1 - I don't know if there'll be any bugs with the apps I already created, or the ones I'll be creating later. Has anyone encountered any problems with using Xcode 6 while completing any of the iOS Track videos?
I guess I could have both versions of Xcode installed in my computer, but I've very limited space on my HD.
Thanks

8,842 PointsHey there Alex Cevallos, have you already played a bit with the new Xcode? Do you like it? I just feel like a kid eyeing a present; I want to already open it and play with it.

16,551 PointsHey dante! Sorry I just saw this now. I would recommend to stick to xcode 5 until you gain a better grasp of how to use xcode. While not that much has changed, it would be much easier to learn on the platform they are currently teaching on.
Also xcode 6 is still in beta, so if you encounter any issues with xcode 6.. it might be harder to find help than xcode 5.
Anyways those are just my two cents, good luck regardless!

8,842 PointsIt makes sense though, just a bit impatient here ;)
Thanks for the input.
