Xcode keeps quitting when I try to give an action to a very simple button. Any ideas on what might be happening? Any remedies? Might the problem be that I installed the beta version of Yosemite?

2,071 PointsI have the beta version of Yosemite too and I'm guessing that's probably the problem. Try using the Xcode 6 beta, which is designed for Yosemite instead of Xcode 5.

2,071 PointsCareful installing the iOS beta! Once its on you won't be able to restore to iOS 7

16,009 PointsShould I not risk it and wait for the official version? It's not even that big of an upgrade right?

2,071 PointsI would say not to risk it unless you're serious about developing in Swift or using the new APIs coming with iOS 8. Then you'd definitely want to have an iOS 8 phone to test your programs on.
