7,322 Pointszip() function
Why the platform don´t let me use zip() function?. I copied and paste the code in sublime text and get the right answer
# combo([1, 2, 3], 'abc')
# Output:
# [(1, 'a'), (2, 'b'), (3, 'c')]
# If you use .append(), you'll want to pass it a tuple of new values.
def combo(a, b):
return zip(a, b)

23,733 PointsThe zip() function returns a zip object. Try passing that object to the list() function:
# combo([1, 2, 3], 'abc')
# Output:
# [(1, 'a'), (2, 'b'), (3, 'c')]
# If you use .append(), you'll want to pass it a tuple of new values.
def combo(a, b):
return list(zip(a, b))
By the way, is your sublime text using python 2.7 by any chance? Because the zip() function returns a list in python 2.7.
