Careers in HTML

As a junior front end web developer you'll combine the art of design with the art of programming to build web sites using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. You may work with designers by translating their designs into working web pages using HTML and CSS. Your responsibilities may also include building out desktop and responsive websites which work on tablets and mobile devices, updating and maintaining existing websites, and debugging and creatively solving a wide range of problems. Employers look for someone with a solid understanding of the three core web page technologies -- HTML, CSS and JavaScript -- as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team with designers, programmers and other developers.
