Can someone pls help me, this task is very important to me, the code in the multi line comments is the code I wrote which is giving me an error. The task says: The data in the file data.json has been loaded into a JSONObject named jsonData. Using data.json as your guide, create a JSONArray object named jsonShows and set it to the array of shows from data.json using the jsonData object.

CodeChallenge.java
// JSONObject 'jsonData' was loaded from data.json

/*
JSONArray jsonShows = jsonData.getJSONObject("shows");
Show[] shows = new Show[jsonShows.length()];

for (int i = 0; i < jsonShows.length(); i++) {
    JSONObject jsonShow = jsonShows.getJSONObject(i);
    Show show = new Show();

    show.setTitle(jsonShow.getString("title"));
    show.setSeason(jsonShow.getString("season"));
    show.setEpisode(jsonShow.getString("episode"));

    shows[i] = show;
}
*/
data.json
{
    "name":"Netflix Playlist",
    "shows":[
        {
            "title":"Doctor Who",
            "season":8,
            "episode":3
        },
        {
            "title":"Arrow",
            "season":1,
            "episode":10
        },
        {
            "title":"Portlandia",
            "season":4,
            "episode":5
        }
    ]
}

Hi Dam

If you haven't solved it try this:

JSONArray jsonShows = jsonData.getJSONArray("shows"); for (int i = 0; i < jsonShows.length(); i++) { JSONObject jObj = jsonShows.getJSONObject(i); Log.i("CodeChallenge", jObj.getString("title")); }

Happy coding (:
