28,149 PointsNo, it's just the forum is crawlable. Email harvesters look for email address to put you on junk mailing lists. Most won't parse kevinkorte15 at gmail dot com into an actual email address, however when you put it normally, they will. And thus it's one way to get junk mail.
It's not a perfect solution, but it helps.

Treehouse could make a variable for your email address such as if we set email adress to be ruby@gmail.com or the way you say , we could just seet a variable and put [address] and the addres will come up :D same as they made with the names

28,149 PointsAnything that is crawlable by a bot is susceptible to this. It's a business. Email harvesting is a business for these guys. They go out, harvest as many emails as they can, and than they can sell your email as part of a list to some 3rd party junk email marketing thing, and that's how you end up getting hundreds of junk emails a day.
That's why I wrote my email address out, because any human and interpret that, but a bot likely won't recognize it as it's looking for a more traditional email address written out correctly.

2,435 PointsI feel like i answered your question twice now, but hey, my english isnt perfect. I said that this is to 'build' 'team work' on 'any' project that we come up such as making a website for the slack group. More details are in the group, as im not going to paste pictures and descriptions here , but i gave you a little overview.
Mobile development = anything , if thats iOS, or Android
Web Dev = anything, if thats RoR or PHP or JS or whatever
Its up to you!

Some of us come to treehouse to learn, but then we are short of practice, because there is only so much we can do with what treehouse provides. Therefore an idea of creating a group was made, a group of people like me and you who are interested in growing our developer skills. One way to do that is, by coming up with "project" ideas, where we all collaborate. By doing this, many of us will learn how to properly use GitHub, learn how to communicate with other developers, learn how to read other developers codes and so on. I believe this is essential for anyone who wants to be a professional developer and make a living out of it. If you are interested, then you are more than welcome to join. All you have to do is provide an e-mail address and invite will be sent.
