Yes and no, I'm conflicted here.

On one side, I think it is TH's duty to continue to update their video series as new technology, and ways of doing things roll out. And they do do that, they've done it with the CSS lessons, iOS recently. However, I'm aware of the shear amount of hours and dollars spent to reshoot a video lesson to update it.

Part of me wants them to spend that time and money on producing a broader range of content, like maybe Python, node.js, backbone.js, or going further into PHP/MySQL, advanced Javascript, etc. Plus I think that once you get the basics down, learning a CSS framework isn't too difficult to get the wheels spinning with it. I became quite familiar with Bootstrap 2.3 and so when 3.0 came out it took me about a day to figure out the new changes and start using. As far as producing a video series or project on Bootstrap 3.0; it really hasn't been released long enough to have had enough time to develop, code, shoot, and edit a series. I don't think TH has that large of a production team. These things like frameworks change and move so fast, it's not too feasible to stay right on top of it.

As a matter of fact, I downloaded bootstrap 3 on the first day. Since that download, there have been 2 significant changes to the grid part of the framework. Most importantly how the Columns sizes were addressed, and how they stacked and didn't stack. So even the frameworks themselves change a lot.

All that to say, I wouldn't say TH shouldn't do a deep dive project using bootstrap 3, but if I were to prioritize it personally on a list of the possible things they could do a deep dive project on, I would put it low on the list.

That's my .02. I'm okay if others disagree. We're still cool.

It would help me a great deal and I would learn more if they would teach bootstrap in detail. Please teach the bootstrap 3 in more depth. Thanks

I'm not a big fan of large CSS frameworks, however I think a 2nd course on responsive web design that included building responsive menus and making your own fluid grids would be great.

This article on grid frameworks discusses a few of the reasons I'm not a big fan them.

According to the roadmap there's a Framework Basics course coming in December that covers Bootstrap 3 and Foundation 4.
