Frog property

Hello there,

I need some help for the "(Frog[] frogs)" property. I have seen also in the video but still does not make sense. In the Frog challenge, does it refers to an array in Frog.cs called "frog" ? But this array actually does not exist in Frog.cs. Why do we need this property?

FrogStats.cs
namespace Treehouse.CodeChallenges
{
    class FrogStats
    {
        public static double GetAverageTongueLength(Frog[] frogs)
        {
        }
    }
}
Frog.cs
namespace Treehouse.CodeChallenges
{
    public class Frog
    {
        public int TongueLength { get; }

        public Frog(int tongueLength)
        {
            TongueLength = tongueLength;
        }
    }
}

Hi there! A while back I posted a fairly detailed solution coupled with an explanation which you can find here. I hope this helps make things clearer, but if you still need assistance, please let me know! :sparkles:

Hi Jennifer,

Thanks for the help. Now it is better, however how can I get the community forum organized. When I click on your link I can see Title and Subtitle organized on the top part of the forum panel but when I click on the community button I can just filter by programming language but no subtopics?

Hi there! No they aren't really organized in subtopics under that menu. However, you have a couple of options here. Either you can use the search function which is quite nice. Many times you can enter the name of the challenge and see some interesting threads immediately. But in this instance, the easiest thing would be to look at the top of the page where you asked the question and click on "For Loops". This will lead you to a list of pages with questions regarding this specific challenge. Hope this helps! :sparkles:
